Jones Mansion to hold haunted history tour this October

The Jones Mansion in Findlay has been standing since 1867. The building is one of the last genuine Victorian mansions in the region. The mansion stood through over 100 years of Northwest Ohio history. This year, the mansion will be home to a limited time Haunted History Tour. During the tour, participants will visit the first, second and third floors. 'Ghosts' will appear to tell their stories. Guests will hear accounts of past epidemics, Victorian postmortem photography and mortuary art. Visitors will come face-to-face with Findlay's most infamous criminal Baltimore Billy. All of the profit from this event will go towards the counited upkeep and renovation of the 153-year-old structure. The event will be held on Oct. 24, and Oct. 31, from 6 to 9 p.m. both nights with a limited number of tickets. It is best to call early to get your choice of times. If the event is not sold out, tickets will be available at the door for $15.00 each though times for touring will vary. Extra measures have been put in place to help comply with the state's current health guidelines.
