The importance of agriculture: My new role | Advertiser-Tribune Autumn has arrived. For people involved in agriculture, the busy time of harvest is currently in full swing. Those who know me recognize the strong belief I have in the important role of agriculture in our world. While growing up, I had the chance to witness multiple generations of my family working together toward the common goal of growing crops and raising livestock to help feed the world. I have learned so much about the benefits of hard work. Agriculture is in my blood.
