Madonna Faye Widman

Madonna Faye Widman, 82, of Clyde, entered eternal life Tuesday, January 12, 2021. Feisty with a heart of gold, she was fiercely loyal and had an infectious laugh. Above all, she loved being a mother, grandmother, homemaker, teacher and farmer's wife. Born March 5, 1938, in Tiffin, she was the daughter of Granville and Arlene Kirkwood. She married Vincent Widman April 7, 1956. Madonna volunteered in many capacities at both St. Aloysius and Immaculate Conception parishes and was a beloved first grade teacher at Immaculate Conception School from 1979 to 2003. She was preceded in death by her parents; a son, Paul; and a sister, Carole Widman. She is survived by her husband of nearly 65 years, Vincent; her five children, Robert (Marilynn), James (Glenda), Ronald (Leslie), Donna (Brad Johnson) and John (Heather); as well as fifteen grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren. As an expression of love and concern for the Bellevue community, private family services will take place. Foos & Foos Funeral Service, 151 Yorkshire Place, Bellevue is in care of arrangements.
