Terra State wins marketing award

Last week, Terra State Community College's Marketing Department won an award for outstanding marketing efforts at the National Council for Marketing and Public Relations (NCMPR) conference. Terra State received a silver Paragon award for the category of Television/Video Ad - Series. The selected three commercials for the college are available to view on YouTube. The Paragon Awards recognize achievement in design and communication at community and technical colleges. It is the only national competition to honor marketing professionals at two-year institutions. "We feel honored to place so high nationally. We found a great partner company in the Toledo area to work with on this project, Flanders Creatives, and plan on doing more with them in the future," said Mike Metzger, marketing manager at Terra State. "Their filmography combined with our vision truly reflects our students and the stories they all have." This is the department's first national award in 20 years. In 2001, they won gold for a brochure/flyer, and they won several regional awards in 2018.
