TU's Hardy signs with Cowboys

Tiffin University standout running back Ja'Quan Hardy signed with the Dallas Cowboys as a undrafted free agent.Hardy opted out of the spring football season for TU, focusing on the draft and his NFL future. In 2019, he was named a second-team All American by both the AFCA and D2CCA. He was D2CCA first-team all-region, GMAC player of the year, first-team All-GMAC and a three-time GMAC offensive player of the week. He was first in the league in rushing and third in all of Division II with 1,554 rushing yards. He was first in the GMAC in yards per carry (7.62), first in the league and seventh in DII with 141.3 rushing yards per game and tied for first in the league and 10th in DII with 15 rushing TDs. For his career overall for the Dragons, Hardy is fifth in rushing attempts, third in yards, third in touchdowns, tied for eighth in points and eighth in all-purpose yards.
