Olive Gay Thompson

Olive Gay Thompson, 91, passed away, Monday, May 17, 2021. She was born Oct. 16, 1929, to Chas H. and Oral (Henderson) Smith. She was raised on a farm in Jackson Township, graduated in 1947, and attended BGSU Alpha Phi Sorority. Olive married C.A. Dolch, Jr., (Lefty) and divorced. Olive later married Creighton (Tommy) Thompson. She attended Harmony United Methodist Church. Olive is survived by her son, Randy (Amy) Dolch; a daughter, Gay (Bob) Hunt; eight grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; grandson, Logan; brother, Paul; sister, Owana Franklin; and great-great-niece, Elizabeth. The family will have a celebration of life this summer.
