Nadine R. Brookman

Nadine R. Brookman, 94, of Fostoria, passed away Saturday, July 10, 2021, at Good Shepherd Home, Fostoria. She was born Sept. 4, 1926, in Tiffin, to Peter and Mary (Cooper) Bintz. She married Ernest L. Brookman, Aug. 5, 1950, in Tiffin. He passed away Aug. 8, 2004. She is survived by her three daughters, Nancy (Terry) Slayter of Wiliamsburg, Virginia, Becky (Tim) Hunsaker of Van Buren, and Connie (Kevin) Rexrode of Fostoria. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; three brothers, Paul, Robert, and Richard Bintz; and a sister, Pauline Burkett. &emsp;&emsp;&emsp;&emsp;&emsp;&emsp;&emsp;&emsp;Nadine was an RN and worked for Fostoria Community Hospital. She was a graduate of Columbian High School, Tiffin, and St. Rita's School of Nursing, Lima. Nadine was also a member of St. Rita's Hospital Alumni Association, Fostoria, Community Hospital Retirement Association and was a volunteer nurse for American Red Cross. Her funeral will be noon Thursday, July 15, 2021, at Harrold-Floriana Funeral Home, Fostoria, with the Rev. Robin Kapostasy officiating. Burial will be at Arcadia Cemetery, Arcadia.
