Auditor's office debuts revamped website

The office of Seneca County Auditor Julie A. Adkins unveiled a newly revamped website at senecacountyauditor.org this past weekend. The updated site will be fully functional from any web browser, including on mobile devices, and will feature improved real estate property searching and an enhanced interactive map search feature, a release from the auditor's office states. The goal of the revamp was to make it easier for residents to find information they need. It took months of planning and teamwork with Pivot Point, an Ohio-based software company, as well as stakeholders in various industries like real estate, mortgage and appraisal, the release states. The new site is meant to make it easier to find forms, reports and other documents published by the office, it states. Additionally, there are new tools and calculators to assist in estimating real estate taxes, conveyance fees and more. "The new website is a huge step forward in terms of technology and usability," Adkins said. "It makes it so much easier for the public to get the information they need and allows us to continuously improve so we can offer more accessibility to data and greater functionality in the future."
