Clyde's library hosting holiday events

CLYDE — The Clyde Public Library has a list of fun and festive events for December. Take note: The library, 222 W. Buckeye St., is closed on Christmas Eve, Christmas Day and New Year's Eve. Recurring events • Tai Chi at the library: Go to the library from 9:15-10:15 a.m. on Mondays for tai-chi. Participants should wear comfortable clothes and bring a mat or towel. No registration is required. • Evening storytime: The library is offering evening storytimes from 5:30-6 p.m. on Tuesdays at the library. Storytime includes stories, crafts and more. • Morning storytime: The library is offering morning storytimes from 11-11:30 a.m. on Thursdays. Like the evening sessions, storytime includes stories, crafts and other activities. • SPLAT (Sublime Public Library Activities for Teens): Kids and young adults in sixth through 12th grades can head to the library from 3:30-5 p.m. on Thursdays. Attendees to this event play games, make crafts, eat snacks and more. Dec. 29 • Lego club: The library is hosting a Lego club from 6:30-7:30 p.m. Each meeting has a suggested building theme and Lego blocks for all. • Crazy crafts: For this month's meeting, participants are making a winter scene in an Altoid tin. The program is from 4-5 p.m. Registration is required, and spots are limited, call (419) 547-7174 to register. Dec. 30 • Noon Years Eve Party: The library is hosting a new year's party from 11:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m. The event has games, food, crafts and more.
