Jennifer L. Smith

Jennifer L. Smith, 40, of Bloomville, passed away at 9:25 a.m. Monday, Dec. 27, 2021, in the emergency room at Mercy Health — Tiffin Hospital. Jennifer was born Dec. 10, 1981, in Pordenone, Italy, to Mark and Julie (Grimes) Smith, who survives in Bloomville. Other survivors include her two daughters, Bryonna Rogers of Tiffin and Kamarah Smith of Bloomville; four grandchildren, Gabriella, Paisleigh, Nalani and Cateleya Lopez; a brother, Joseph (Kelvin) Roden-Smith of Gibraltar, Michigan; two nieces, Diana and HannahFaye Roden-Smith; and her best friend, Shelly Stewart of Bloomville. Jennifer volunteered at the corner restaurant in Bloomville. She enjoyed cooking, the outdoors, sitting on the front porch and spending time with her grandchildren. Jennifer was a 2001 graduate of Old Fort High School and the culinary program at Vanguard. There will be a visitation for family and friends from 2-4 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 4, 2022, at Engle-Shook Funeral Home & Crematory, Tiffin. There will be no burial at this time.
