Throwback Thursday

This photo shows a selection of ads in a July 1975 edition of The Advertiser-Tribune, showing a few of the places where locals used to eat. The top left coupon offers a three-piece chicken dinner at Miss Julie's for $1.39. Today, the restaurant where Miss Julie's was located is now Paulette's, 238 S. Sandusky St. Napoli Pizza had a coupon allowing people to save a dollar on any 18" pizza. They had two locations at the time, a 452 E. Market St. location and the 378 W. Market St. location they still inhabit today. In 1975, Jac & Do's Pizza also had two locations, at 283 S. Washington St. and 235 N. Washington St. Finally, there is the Cactus Steak House coupon at the bottom right of the photo, saying every Tuesday one could get a steak dinner for $1.29 that included a baked potato, salad and dinner roll.
