NAMI to host annual John Van Der Laar Walk

NAMI of Seneca, Sandusky and Wyandot counties is set to host its 17th annual John Van Der Laar Walk 10 a.m.-noon April 30 at Conner Park, 2300 Morrison Road, Fremont. The free event is to draw the community together to show support for mental health. Adults, children and pets are welcome to participate. A free lunch and T-shirt are available to those who register. Participants can register by calling 419-334-8021, online at www.namissw.org or by email at information@namissw.org. There are four ways to participate in the event: Drive thru - Stay in your car and pick up your lunch and T-shirt. Quiz walk - One lap, quiz walk around Conner Park. Listen - Follow along on the radio at 99.1 from 9 a.m.-noon. Walk on your own and send NAMI a photo. Participants also can create a team. Donations can be made to NAMI by visiting www.namissw.org and clicking donate, by Venmo @NAMI-SSW or checks via mail. Mail can be sent to NAMI's office, 2228 W.
