Cynthia K. Shope

Cynthia K. Shope, 45, passed away Monday, March 14, 2022, at Kobacker House, Columbus. Cynthia is survived by her loving husband of 17 years, Adam Shope; two children, Trevor and Taegan Shope; mother, Judy (Jim) Worstein Dieter; brother, Dan Worstein; sister, Krista (Jason) Gibson; five nieces and nephews, Camden and Karissa Worstein, Gabriel Gibson and Mallory and Bryson Garrett; mother-in-law and father-in-law, Cheryl and Mike Shope; sister-in-law, Trisha (Aaron) Garrett; and very dear friend, Laura Dalton. She was preceded in death by her father, Dave Worstein. Cynthia graduated from Lakota High School and Shawnee State University. She enjoyed playing board games, reading, card games, pizzas on the fire, parades and picnics. Most of all, she loved spending time with her children and being a part of whatever they were doing. Cynthia was a wonderfully kind, fun and giving person. Cynthia's funeral will be 1 p.m. Monday, March 21, 2022, at Schoedinger Funeral Home, 4242 Hoover Rd. (Hoover and Kingston), Grove City, with Mark Dettmer, Celebrant. Visitation will be 2-5 p.m. Sunday, March 20, 2022, at the funeral home.
