Left Field to host live summer entertainment

NEW RIEGEL --- Rick Kessler said he feels everything he has done throughout his life has led him to becoming the new owner of a local New Riegel restaurant. Left Field New Riegel, 7889 W. CR 10, specializes in fan favorites such as pizza, chicken chunks, subs, burgers and salads. Kessler, who has a background in restaurant management, said he felt the restaurant is exactly what the community needed. Kessler, a New Riegel native, took ownership of the restaurant in March 2021, and had it fully operating by September 2021. Now with the warm months ahead, Kessler is looking to continue with additional upgrades to engage the community. Kessler has big plans for the restaurant, including a live entertainment lineup throughout the year. Beginning in June, local bands and musicians will be set to perform at Left Field every other weekend. Kessler said there is a 60-foot bar patio and an indoor banquet area to host musicians, and the restaurant is working on building an indoor stage and outdoor flattop. Other upgrades made to the restaurant include additional drink coolers for the drive-thru and an upcoming outdoor canopy. Kessler said he is excited to continue making customers happy through the restaurant's products and services and he looks forward to meeting and interacting with customers. "I just want everybody to have a place to go and eat and be able to come in and enjoy themselves," he said.
