James Lee Brown

James Lee Brown, 75, of Bloomville, passed away peacefully Friday, June 3, 2022, at home. James was born Feb. 10, 1947, in Marion, to John and Frieda (Gary) Brown, who preceded him in death. He married Lizabeth Ann (Smolko) on Nov. 23, 1985, in Galion, and she survives in Bloomville. James is also survived by four children, James Brown of Marion, Charity Patillo of Panama City, Florida, Jeff Brown of Marion and Kristi Handly-Parsons of Pelzer, South Carolina; brother, Larry Brown of Marion; two stepbrothers, Tracy Brown and Dee Brown, both of Marion; sister, Dorothy Clunk of Prospect; and stepsister, Diane Wallace of Marion. James retired from Rosewood Nursing Home, Galion. He enjoyed boating, fishing, hunting, raising specialty birds and running a small hobby farm. James attended Marion High School and was a U.S. Marine veteran, serving during Vietnam. There will be no funeral services for James at this time. Engle-Shook Funeral Home & Crematory, Tiffin, is assisting family with arrangements. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to charity of the donor's choice.
