Traffic box featured artist: Chelsea Mullins

The first six traffic control boxes have been wrapped in downtown Tiffin as part of the Tiffin Municipal Arts Commission's traffic control box art contest. This week, we are featuring the artists whose work has been chosen to spruce up downtown Tiffin. Chelsea Mullins is a Tiffin Columbian graduate with a degree in Fine Art and Art History from Terra State. She has been painting professionally for almost nine years, with a focus on commission work, portraits, murals and performance art. Mullins currently serves as Co-Vice Chair of the Tiffin Municipal Arts Commission and recently painted multiple murals at Your Legacy Federal Credit Union in honor of their recent expansion. Along with offering private art lessons to aspiring artists, Mullins also teaches group classes at Studio², 193 S. Washington St. Her art can usually be recognized by its bold colors, but she frequently blends realistic portraits into bright galaxies. Mullin's artwork chosen for a traffic control box is a vibrant painting of a chameleon. Artwork will be displayed at the intersection of E. Perry and S. Washington streets.
