Downtown Pizza Party

The Seneca County Young Professionals (SCYP) hosted this month's Third Thursday, where they brought the largest pizza party to ever occur in downtown Tiffin. Guests redeemed $2 tickets for a pizza-related item from participating vendors, with half of the proceeds of each ticket benefitting the Seneca County Common Ground in support of The Community Kitchen Project. This year's event included a record high of 15 participants including: Clover Club; Domino's Pizza; The Elks Lodge No. 94; The Empire; Fort Ball Pizza Palace; FroZone Tiffin; AJ's Heavenly Pizza; Jac & Do's; Jolly's; JT's Bagel Bar; Marco's Pizza; Napoli Pizza; Reino's Pizza & Pasta; Simply Susan's; and The VC Tiffin Cameo. Live music by No Eileen took place from in City Lot No. 7, which was sponsored by Bailiwicks Coffee Company, JT's Bagel Bar, Simply Susan's and Tom Rodgers Flowers. Beth Mattia performed in City Lot No. 5, and Thursday Night Tunes, sponsored by Croghan Colonial Bank, featuring Poobah performed at the Frost-Kalnow Amphitheater at the East Green. The Seneca County Young Professionals was formed in 2014 as a way for young professionals in Tiffin and Seneca County to connect with each other and give back to the community. The organization started as an affiliate of the advisory council to the Tiffin-Seneca United Way, until 2019 when the group became an independent 501(c)3.
