Reflector poll shows Morgan and Tkach favored in local election races

In an online poll last week, the Norwalk Reflector asked readers who they favored in the races for Huron County auditor and Huron County commissioner in the November general election.More than 450 people participated in the poll.Republican incumbent Joe Hintz, Democratic challenger Melissa James and Independent challenger Bob Morgan are competing in the commissioner's race. Morgan received 42 percent of the votes, while Hintz and James each had about a quarter of the votes, 27 percent and 24 percent, respectively.Here are the poll results for this one:• Bob Morgan - 42% • Joe Hintz - 27%• Melissa James - 24%• I can't or won't vote in this race - 4%• Write-in candidate - 3%Democratic incumbent Roland Tkach faces Republican challenger Tom Dunlap in the auditor's race.
