BG man makes Ohio Veterans Hall of Fame

COLUMBUS — Steve L. Arnold of Bowling Green, a Vietnam veteran of the U.S. Navy who has served Wood County youth for more than 30 years, is one of 20 honorees scheduled for induction into the Ohio Veterans Hall of Fame on Nov. 29 in Columbus.Arnold, 75, and the others will be honored from 10 to 11 a.m., at Ohio State University's Fawcett Center, 2400 Olentangy River Road. The honorees will receive medals from Ohio Department of Veterans Services Director Deborah Ashenhurst.Arnold is credited with positively impacting hundreds of northwest Ohio youth through his work with the Wood County 4-H program, 4-H Camp Palmer and as director of programming with the Hugh O'Brian Youth Leadership program.Other scheduled inductees are: Peter K.
