Scholl-Siefring Wedding

Scholl-Siefring Frances P. Scholl and Mark J. Siefring exchanged wedding vows at 1:30 p.m. November 5, 2022, at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Wapakoneta. The double-ring ceremony was officiated by the Rev. Mark Hoying. A reception followed at Knights of Columbus, Celina. The bride is the daughter of Jane Scholl of Tiffin. The groom is the son of Vernon and Carmen Siefring of Covington. The bride was given in marriage by her mother, and wore an almond mocha dress with champagne undertones, an illusion neckline that plunges into a sweetheart neckline with detailed beading. The veil contained beading on the outside edges. She carried a bouquet of roses, carnations with baby's breath and greenery. The bridesmaids wore dusty sage dresses in three different styles, cross-neck, sweetheart and off-the-shoulder and carried bouquets of roses, carnations with baby's breath and greenery. Kennedy Paron of Brighton, Michigan was the matron of honor, her best friend from college. Cecelia Gothier of Holland was the maid of honor, sorority sister. Bridesmaids were Lily Hagigat Vrzal of Perrysburg, Corinne Tipping of New Albany, Laura Heckenmueller of Cincinnati, Makenzie Verhoff of Youngstown, all friends of the bride, Jaclyn Fickert of Akron, sister of the groom, Emily Ritzler of Columbus, friend of the bride, Jen Scholl of Tiffin, sister of the bride. Flower girls were Abby Distel of Tiffin, cousin of the bride, and Emily Siefring of Fort Recovery, cousin of the groom. Best Men were Jordan Swartz of Russia, Ohio, friend of the groom and Matthew Siefring, brother of the groom. Groomsmen included Kevin Bruns of Maria Stein, Joseph Stickel of Russia, Ohio, Jeffrey Comes of Perrysburg, Jason Dick of Shelby, all friends of the groom, Dustin Fickert of Akron, brother-in-law of the groom, Jason Siefring of Russia, Ohio, brother of the groom, Nathan Platfoot of Russia, Ohio, friend of the groom. Ring bearer was Joseph Siefring of Fort Recovery, cousin of the groom. The bride, a 2014 graduate of Columbian High School, graduated in 2018 from the University of Toledo with a bachelor of business administration with a double major in marketing and management. She is employed as a real estate sales representative at Sidney Daily News in Sidney. The groom, a 2016 graduate of Russia High School, graduated in 2020 from the University of Toledo with a bachelor of science degree in electrical engineering. He is employed as an engineer at Crown in New Bremen. Jane Scholl, mother of the bride and Carmen Siefring, mother of the groom hosted a "she found her main squeeze" shower August 28, 2022. The bride's co-workers hosted a shower Sept. 15, 2022. A rehearsal dinner was at Knights of Columbus, Celina. Following their honeymoon cruise to Cozumel, the couple resides in Sidney.
