TU names staff award winners

Tiffin University's Assembly for Staff Engagement and Talent (ASSET) has named its annual staff award winners. Five awards were presented. Jacob Simon, assistant vice president for Intercultural and Community Engagement, deputy Title IX coordinator received the Equity, Diversity and Inclusion Distinguished Leadership Award. This award recognizes achievements in developing a caring university community that is culturally diverse and reflective of inclusive excellence. Jason Bock, director of Operations for the Center for Online and Extended Learning received the Service to Campus Award, recognizing his excellence in aiding TU's community and members. Mikki King, director of Annual Giving received the Service to the Community Award, recognizing King's excellence in service to Tiffin and Seneca County. Ali Havrilla, director for Online Enrollment Management received the Excellence in ICARE Values Award which recognizes Havrilla's commitment to embodying interdependence, TU's chosen ICARE value for the 2022-2023 school year. Nick Bollinger, assistant director of Online Post Graduate Admissions received the Lori Hall Staff Member of the Year Award. The award is named after former employee Lori Hall who embodied the same values that the ASSET leadership teams has deemed integral for an exceptional staff member. "I extend my deepest congratulations to all honorees," said Kerry Jones, coordinator of Assessment and ASSET executive board member. "We hope their achievements continue to inspire us, motivate us and remind us that we all possess the potential to be better than expected for ourselves as well as our students."
