Dads get a $5 token at farmers market Saturday

Kick off Father's Day weekend at Tiffin Seneca Farmers Market and dads get a $5 token to spend at either the farmers market or JAM's Monthly Market. The market takes place 9 a.m.-1 p.m. Saturday on Madison Street between Washington and Jefferson streets. Tokens can be picked up at the market bank table or at check-out at JAM's. This is limited to the first 100 dads, and dads must have children with them to qualify. Activities for Father's Day include face painting, live music by Dean-o Rochester and other vendors with local goods. This week, vendors include Baked by Bells, Bella Cuisine, Clay Hill Organic, Cuadra Pediatric Dentistry LLC, Franciscan Earth Literacy Center, Hope's Landing, Juno the Doodle Dog Treat, Nagle Family Beef, Outpour Coffee, Riehm Produce Farm, Sacred Soil Farms, SNAP Education, Tiffin Lions Club and Tiffin/Seneca County's Retired and Senior Volunteer Program. Youth activities are to be provided by Restoration Alliance Church and Ace of Face. Market sponsors are Sutton Bank as well as Cuadra Pediatric Dentistry, Madison Street Tavern, Nichole Miller State Farm Insurance, Ag Credit, Seneca County Farm Bureau, Mercy Health and the Seneca County Master Gardeners.
