A new seamstress was welcomed Thursday afternoon during a ribbon-cutting ceremony. The Tiffin community celebrated with Jenny Hale as she commemorated her new business: The Secret Seamstress. When Hale moved to Tiffin last year, she connected with Danielle Park, the owner of Yours With Every Stitch. Eventually, the two decided to work together which led to the opening of "The Secret Seamstress." The sewing and alteration boutique is located on the second floor of The Laird Arcade Building, 120 1/2 S. Washington St., and is open for walk-ins from 8:30 a.m.-5 p.m. Monday or from noon-6 p.m. Friday. Hale is also available by appointment at other times by calling 419-608-8074. Hale specializes in altering and sewing formal gowns and has learned and acquired the art of tailoring suits on her own.
