Bulls and Barrels at Copper Mare Ranch

TIFFIN – The white-knuckle action of rodeo bull riding and barrel racing returns to Seneca County when Copper Mare Ranch, 6090 N. SR 53, hosts Bulls and Barrels at 7 p.m. Aug. 26. The show – produced by professional rodeo veterans Grant Fatzinger and Hayden Townsend – will feature some of the Buckeye State's top athletes, including world champion barrel racer Elyse Koch and junior standout Kayler Shaw. In addition to the bulls and barrels competition, trick rider Avalyn Zehender plans to wow the crowd as she performs an array of stunts astride a galloping horse. "Producing an event like this has always been a dream for both Hayden and me," said Fatzinger, owner of Copper Mare Ranch. "Hayden has the bulls and chutes and I have the arena, so we decided to join forces to give the audience a great show." Townsend, of Morral, Ohio, also offers schooling for aspiring bull riders. Gates for the Copper Mare Ranch Bulls and Barrels show will open at 5:30 p.m. The Rocket Donkey Diner food trailer will be on hand to serve a variety of its culinary fare including burgers, homemade mac and cheese, pulled pork and other items.
