Downtown Tiffin's Third Thursday Pizza Party set for Sept. 21

TIFFIN – The annual Downtown Tiffin Pizza Party will showcase local restaurants 5:30-8:30 p.m. Sept. 21 on Washington Street in city lots 5 and 7. Part of Downtown Tiffin's Third Thursday series, the event is chaired by the Seneca County Young Professionals and takes place in Tiffin's Designated Outdoor Refreshment Area. Pre-purchase ticket sales start today at Pan Yan Bookstore, Ralph's Joy of Living, Simply Susan's and The Renaissance of Tiffin during their normal business hours. Tickets will be available for purchase on the evening of the event at the Seneca County Commissioners parking lot adjacent to Reclaim It 127. All tickets will be sold for $2 each, and only cash payments will be accepted. This year's event will include Clover Club, Domino's Pizza, The Empire, Fort Ball Pizza Palace, FroZone Tiffin, Heavenly Pizza, Jac & Do's, Marco's Pizza, Napoli Pizza, Reino's Pizza & Pasta, Simply Susan's and The VC Tiffin Cameo. An aspect that makes this event even more meaningful is the SCYP's commitment to supporting the community, said a Tiffin-Seneca Economic Partnership news release. Fifty percent of the proceeds from each ticket sold will be donated to the local non-profit organization, Transformation Life Center. Attendees can enjoy live music with No Eileen 5-7 p.m. in city lot 7 sponsored by Bailiwicks Coffee Company, JT's Bagel Bar, Happy Days Nutrition of Tiffin, RE/MAX Unlimited Results and Simply Susan's. Beth Mattia and Nate McMaster will be playing 5:30-7:30 p.m. in city lot 5, and Thursday Night Tunes, sponsored by Croghan Colonial Bank, featuring the Eric Sowers Band will be 7-9 p.m. at the Frost-Kalnow Amphitheater at the East Green.
