Towne and Country Players hit the road

NORWALK --- The Towne and Country Players, Inc., a Norwalk-based educational, charitable non-profit organization, has announced its Season 58 concert schedule. "We are taking our Concerts on the road this year," said The Towne and Country Players President, NeilMiller. The season will open in Clyde at the High School Performing Arts Auditorium featuring the 18th Annual Veterans Tribute Concert, "ALL HANDS ON DECK!" on Nov. 12 at 3 p.m. All veterans will be admitted into this event for free. The next event will be in Huron, at the former home of the Bowling Green State University Summer Playhouse, 325 Ohio St. This event will take place Dec. 3 at 3 p.m. and is titled, "CHRISTMAS!" This features the Patriots Symphonic Band. Lastly, on Feb. 11, 2024 at 3 p.m., The Towne and Country Players will make their way to Bellevue First Church, 901 Northwest St., for an exclusive appearance by the Indiana Wesleyan University Chorale. Concert Committee Members, Wayne and Lynn McCoy of Bellevue have helped secure two performances in Sandusky County where The Towne and Country Players was founded in 1966. "Going back to our roots in the Bellevue and Clyde areas has been requested by many audience members over the years, thus, we are following their suggestion," said committee member Glenn Armstrong of Wakeman.
