H-L hires new treasurer

BASCOM—Hopewell-Loudon Schools has recently welcomed new treasurer Nick Bergman to the district. Bergman, a graduate of The Ohio State University, said by honing in on his analytical skills he developed a strong understanding of financial principles, preparing him for the role of a treasurer. "Growing up with two parents as teachers instilled in me a deep appreciation for education and its ability to ignite change and empower individuals," he said, noting he is looking forward to continuing to dive into numbers and creative ways to support the mission of Hopewell-Loudon. "In this role I can blend my financial expertise with my passion for education, allowing me to make a meaningful impact on students' lives," he said. "It's exciting to think about how we can make a real difference by managing our finances wisely and transparently, all while helping our students and staff thrive." Bergman said he hopes to influence Hopewell-Loudon by promoting transparency, accountability and effective financial management. He said one of his top priorities is to ensure resources are allocated efficiently to support the educational initiatives within the district, while also seeking out partnerships and financial funding opportunities to enhance the educational experience for everyone in the Hopewell-Loudon community. "As your new school treasurer, I'm here to listen and collaborate with the entire community," he added. "Whether you have ideas for financial improvements, questions about budgeting or just want to chat about how we can make our school even better—I'm all ears. "Let's work together to ensure every student has the opportunity to succeed," he said.
