Tiffin native starts well drilling business

TIFFIN --- Matthew Boes is a young entrepreneur who realized his childhood dream of owning a water well drilling business when he established Boes Water Well Drilling and Pump Services in August 2023. His mission is clear: to provide a quality water source for generations to come by building a business based on hard work and integrity. Together with his wife, Kaylyn Boes, share a passion for the growth and support of the community. Boes offers a wide range of services to cater to the needs of both residential and commercial clients. They specialize in drilling residential, commercial, geothermal, and agricultural wells. Additionally, Boes foresees the entire water system installment process, from the conception of the well to the establishment of the water source into the desired structure. They also handle the installation of water tanks and pumps, repair water line leaks, and provide water testing services. His passion for the well business stems from his childhood experiences watching his father, Jerry Boes, drill water wells. Growing up in Seneca County, Boes is dedicated to serving the rural community where he grew up. His journey to becoming a successful business owner started with his education. He graduated from Columbian in 2018 and went on to complete a bachelor's degree in agricultural business at the University of Northwestern Ohio in 2020. His academic background has equipped him with the knowledge and skills necessary to run a successful water drilling business. "Growing up around my dad drilling wells and excavating initiated my interest in the well business at a young age," Boes added. "My dad taught me how to install water systems and always encouraged hands-on learning during the summers and weekends, I would go on jobs with my dad."
