Wild Bunch Wellness Bar brings good health

TIFFIN – Opening a business is something that Lacie Pace has always wanted to do. Now, after working for over 20 years as a Registered Nurse, she has finally achieved her dream. Located at 71 E. Market Street, Wild Bunch Wellness Bar was formerly the Duck Inn and has been open for about over a month; the building has been transformed into a warm and welcoming environment. As a native of Bascom, Pace and her husband Ryan have four children together, one of whom Allie works with her mother at the Wellness Bar. Pace is a graduate of Lakota High School. With 22 years of nursing under her belt (eight of those being at Mercy Health - Tiffin Hospital), she said, how, over the years, she noticed a decline in health and wellness, correlating what we feed our bodies with to what our bodies give back to us, and from there it became her dream to bring a healthy-delicious option to Tiffin. Pace is currently leasing the space from JVC properties. "Nursing is what led to me learning about and becoming more aware of holistic health and wellness," said Pace. "I saw the need for Wild Bunch Wellness Bar and decided to make a career change to serve the community in a new way that can better their health," Pace said, and as she anticipated, business is going well. Pace said in an interview that business is already better than expected, noting, "We already have a number of regulars and see new customers daily, with Friday and Saturday being our busiest days." Currently sourcing their produce from Premier Produce One, Pace said they intend to source as many of their ingredients locally as they can once it becomes in season. Offering a variety of food and drink items to choose from, everything is made using raw organic ingredients and is prepared fresh for you daily, with no added preservatives. Some items are prepared the night before, like the juices stored in their grab-and-go cooler for those who are in a rush. Likewise, they have some food items ready to go as well, like smoothie bowls, salads, paninis, and more. In addition to having plenty of great, healthy food and refreshing beverages, the store also has a merchandise section where they sell t-shirts, household remedies, bathing products, tea leaves, and more—all of which are organic.
