Foghat to perform at the Ritz

The Ritz Theatre is to present Foghat, "Road Fever Tour" at 7:30 p.m. Saturday. As of Wednesday, April 17, 130 tickets were still available (Ritz Theatre seating capacity—1,250). Foghat live performances show why the band is still around and why they will be able to keep on rockin' as long as they want to play! Their music is timeless, and touring is part of their DNA. Foghat's live show is as intense as ever with the incredible energy and musicianship that one would expect from a seasoned band. Foghat fans are everywhere, and their audience consists of all ages, from the young who play Guitar Hero III and know all the lyrics to "Slow Ride" to the "boomers" who bought Foghat's first vinyl or 8-track. Other hits include "Fool for the City" and "I Just Want to Make Love to You." The current band lineup includes bluesy, soulful singer and guitarist Scott Holt and original Foghat drummer Roger Earl.
