Visitors Bureau welcomes National Ayrshire Convention

FREMONT — The Sandusky County Visitors Bureau welcomed the 2024 National Ayrshire Dairy Convention from June 18-21. This event, hosted by the Ohio Ayrshire Breeders Association, drew hundreds of visitors from across the country. They converged on Fremont to celebrate Ayrshire cattle and the region's vibrant agricultural heritage. The Sandusky County Visitors Bureau in Fremont helped bring this National Conference to the area, securing group rates for hotels and arranging and preparing itineraries to keep visitors entertained leading up to Friday's full-day event. The convention's schedule was packed with engaging activities designed to entertain and educate attendees of all ages. Highlights included: An exciting day at Cedar Point Amusement Park, A delightful dinner at Copper Whale Winery, A scenic dinner cruise on Lake Erie, and more. There are many other conference related events and activities taking place throughout the week also. Convention visitors are encouraged to shop and dine locally and enjoy our friendly community.
