KTECH to consider Fostoria for regional office

FOSTORIA — KTECH, a leading national sales and marketing agency, announced that four cities in Northwest Ohio—Fremont, Bowling Green and Fostoria—have been shortlisted as potential locations for the company's new regional office and call center. The company is currently in the final phase of its selection process, carefully evaluating each city to determine the optimal location for its new facility. According to a release from CEO of KTECH Kai Traxler, key factors being considered in the decision-making process include access to advanced communication networks and utilities, the availability of a talented and skilled workforce, and other critical elements essential to the success of KTECH's operations. "Fostoria has ample amounts of Fibre running throughout the downtown area," said Traxler. "By having access to these major fiber optic networks, our costs would be significantly lower, making Fostoria a prime location to consider." Additionally, explained Traxler, utility costs in Fostoria are lower than the other cities being considered. If the city of Fostoria is chosen as the location of KTECH's Regional Office and Call Center, the company expects to "hire upwards of 200 people over the next 1-2 years," said Traxler. Not only will the company create more jobs, it will also create competitive wages. According to the release, "KTECH is proud to offer competitive compensation packages that exceed livable wage standards for all positions within the company." Traxler explained that as a sales-based company, most of its staff are paid by commission, with current sales agents making between $500 and $1,000 daily. "Employees would also receive discounts on services such as home internet, mobile phones and more," said Traxler. KTECH originally came to fruition in Findlay, where the company began as a Metronet Authorized Reseller. Traxler said he has always been a part of the sales industry. "From working in the wireless industry at Cellular Central in Fostoria to becoming a multi-unit manager for Avant Wireless (a Cricket authorized reseller)," said Traxler.
