Old Fort nips Calvert by a stroke to win SBC Shootout

PORT CLINTON – Calvert's Kevin Ardner bested Old Fort's Evan Combs by one stroke Monday, but it was Old Fort who squeaked by the Senecas by a single stroke 165-166 to win the SBC Shootout at Catawba Island.Hopewell-Loudon was fourth with a 184, New Riegel took sixth with a 189 and Lakota came in ninth with a 208.Combs posted a 39 for the Stockaders, while Ryan Adelsperger added a 40, Colten Hoerig shot a 42 and Cole Bender finished with a 44.
