H-L girls, Calvert's Rishty win SBC River Tourney titles

OREGON – The Hopewell-Loudon girls' golf team showed up when it mattered Monday as it took home another SBC River Tournament title Monday at Eagle's Landing.Calvert's Alyssa Rishty was the tournament medalist firing a 78, but the Chieftains were four strokes better than Fremont St. Joe and 12 better than third place Calvert. H-L posted a 377, while Calvert shot a 389 and Old Fort came in fifth with a 404. Aubrey Cline led the Chieftains with an 81, while Megan Boes fired a 92, Raegan Miller added a 95 and Mallory Rowe carded a 109. Mylie Alt (111) and Maddie Parkins (116) also played for H-L.Backing Rishty for Calvert were Grace Wood with a 101, Addison King with a 103 and Hannah Spaun and Izzi Jones each shot a 107. Reagan Clark finished with a 108.The Combs sisters paced the Stockaders as Sarah fired a 90 and Kristin tacked on a 93, while Claire Hunter shot a 101 and Hannah Pemberton finished with a 120. Isabella Reyna (121) and Mollie Snyder (141) also competed for the Stockaders.New Riegel's Cate Reinhart carded a 101. Bellevue grabs the SBC Lake Tournament championshipOREGON – Bellevue had three of the four scores in the 90s Monday to win the SBC Lake Tournament championship by six strokes over Clyde at Eagle's Landing.Bellevue shot a 383, while Clyde had a 389 and Columbian was fifth with a 453.Magdalynn Heuring and Stepheni Hammer shot twin 93s for the Lady Red, followed by a 95 from Lauren Fleming and a 102 from Tessa Blankenship. Addison Miller shot a 104 and Ava Meyer added a 109.Samantha Young's 92 paced the Fliers. They also got a 98 from Madi Hall, a 99 by Ella Howey and a 100 by Abbie Rogish. Sienna Turner (103) and Claire Collins (124) also played for the Fliers.For TC, Chloe Orians shot a 108, followed by Emma Spurck with a 112, Lorelei Ludwig with a 114 and Abriella Woessner with a 119. Daphne Daniel posted a 123 and Mara Renninger ended with a 125. Ardner, Senecas win 1st league titleOREGON – Calvert senior Kevin Ardner had his game working Monday as he shot an even-par 72 to medal and lead his Senecas to their first-ever league title in golf as they won the SBC River championship at Eagle's Landing.Calvert edged Old Fort 327-332, while Hopewell-Loudon was fourth with a 342, New Riegel placed fifth with a 342 and Lakota came in ninth with a 369.Backing Ardner for the Senecas were Weston Burns with a n 80 (4th overall), Blake Coleman with an 86 and Liam Herbert with an 89. Jacob Rishty (92) and Gavin Wagner (94) each played for the Senecas.Evan Combs' 76 was third overall for the Stockaders. They also got an 81 from Ryan Adelsperger, an 87 by Cole Bender and an 88 from Colten Hoerig. Grady Eakin shot a 95 and Trevor Gillmor finished with a 111.H-L's Wade Kreais carded an 81, while Cohen Sendelbach added an 86, Colton Savidge had an 87 and Tyler Foos shot an 88. Caiden Helms recorded an 89 and Asher Smith ended with a 100.Brayden Schalk paced New Riegel with an 81, followed by Blake Moes with an 86, Braden Clouse with an 88 and Shane Jones with a 90. Sam Clouse (97) and Hayden Thompson (107) also competed for NR.For Lakota, Alex Speck carded an 86, Carter Myers was right behind him with an 87, Grant Scherger posted a 94 and Jack Reyna rounded out the scoring with a 102. Cooper Lavigne shot a 111 and Aydin Manuel turned in a 115.
