TENNIS: Oak Harbor topped Calvert 4-1 Tuesday night. The Senecas' lone win came at third singles as Isabella Lucius topped Dakota Guth 6-2, 6-1. JV VOLLEYBALL: Ava Eilrich registered 13 assists, seven digs and four aces to push Calvert past Fremont St. Joe 25-16, 25-13. Gracie Miller added 11 digs and seven kills, Hayden Dircksen came up with seven digs and Carly Bagent lined three kills.Mohawk beat Carey 25-10, 25-8. Reese Hoover keyed the Warriors with 14 assists, seven digs and two kills, Cara Peterson tallied 10 digs and two aces, Elise Meyer added six digs and five kills and Mara Lease slammed six kills.Hopewell-Loudon beat Gibsonburg 19-25, 25-21, 26-24. Alexis Fedele paced the Chieftains with 12 assists, six digs and five kills. Persilla Ragle added eight digs and two kills, Savanna Cook had five kills, three aces and three digs, and Anna Bloom ended with three kills, two aces and two digs.Clyde edged Columbian 23-25, 25-17, 25-20. Aubrey Schumm tossed up 10 assists for the Chieftains, Rowan Clagg provided seven digs and five kills and Aubrie Tiell had four aces, four digs and three kills.Columbian beat Clyde 25-22, 25-19 as Makenzie Felske had two aces, eight assists and 10 digs for the Tornadoes. They also got three aces, four kills and five digs from Layne Woodruff and an ace, a kill and six digs by Anna Nitecki. JUNIOR HIGH VOLLEYBALL: Calvert's eighth grade beat Fremont St. Joe 25-18, 25-9 on the strength of Rachel Spaun's 13 assists, five digs and four aces. Kaylee Kramer chipped in six digs, four kills and two aces for the Senecas.Old Fort's seventh grade beat Sandusky St. Mary 25-15, 25-10 Monday. Gabby Zimmerman keyed the Stockaders with six aces, four assists and three kills, Anna Dick tallied four aces, four kills and four assists, and Kennedy Roca slammed three aces.Old Fort's eighth grade lost 25-14, 25-21 Monday to Sandusky St. Mary. Ally Quaintance led Old Fort with 10 aces, four assists, three kills and two digs, Stevie Baker added four digs, two aces and two kills, and Baylee Walker chipped in three aces and three assists.Buckeye Central beat Mohawk's seventh grade 25-21, 25-23 Monday.
