Everhart wins treasurer

Annette Everhart was elected to the Seneca County Treasurer position Tuesday and will take office September 2025. She will replace current County Treasurer Paul Harrison. "I am very excited to begin my new position as Seneca County Treasurer next September 2025," Everhart said. "I anticipate a smooth transition." As for any changes to the office, Everhart said, "I plan to ensure we continue our quality customer service to the Seneca County taxpayers. I plan to look for various ways to enhance our office procedures, especially during our very busy tax collections." She ran uncontested and received 20,067 votes, according to unofficial election results from the Seneca County Board of Elections. "I am humbled by all the support I have received from my family, friends, Seneca County voters and taxpayers," she said. "I thank you all so much for your kind words of encouragement!"
