TU partners with TeamWork Online

Tiffin University will become a TeamWorkU campus starting January 1, 2025. With a promise to get students hired faster, the partnership with TeamWork Online provides a range of recruiting products and services in the sports and live events industry available to students and alumni in all majors. Based in Cleveland, TeamWork Online is responsible for over 20,000 hires per year with connections to over 85% of all NBA, NHL, NFL, MLB, MLS and minor league teams. They also have connections to various collegiate athletic departments, sport and entertainment facilities, talent agencies, sport media companies and more. Founder Buffy Filippell, aformer IMG agent, claims TeamWorkU's premium services get students hired five times faster. The partnership marks a significant step in enhancing career opportunities, ensuring students and alumni have access to industry-leading resources, both online and in-person. Career Services will host a virtual live demo on how to create a compelling profile and use features of the online platform at 7 p.m. Wednesday, November 20. A TeamWorkU representative will also be in the virtual session and participants will learn about opportunities for students to become a TeamWorkU Ambassador or to intern for the company. What TeamWork U Offers Certified Profile Badge: A digital badge that verifies skills and qualifications, making profiles stand out to potential employers in the sports industry. Resume/Profile Review: A member of TeamWork Online will provide personal consultation to enhance the content and appearance of resumes and profiles. Zoom Calls with Industry Professionals: Engage in direct conversations with leading figures in the sports and live events field, gaining insights and advice from experienced professionals. Mock Interviews: Practice and refine interview skills with feedback from industry experts, increasing confidence and readiness for real-world opportunities. Digital Business Cards: Create a unique business card accessible by a QR code that is easily shared on mobile and digital devices. Weekly Newsletter: Stay updated with the latest trends, job openings and industry news, ensuring you remain informed and competitive. Reporting and Analytics: Access data-driven insights to help you understand the sports industry's landscape and effectively tailor your job search strategies. January 2025 Launch Representatives from TeamWork Online will be on campus at least once during the spring semester including the Tiffin University Career Fair Friday, March 14, 2025. Founder, Buffy Filippel, will also appear on campus. Several virtual sessions in the spring will feature a TeamWork Online consultant including a breakout during the Virtual Sports and Fitness Showcase hosted by Tiffin University and the City of Fort Myers, Florida Friday, February 7.
