Blue Streaks down TC boys and girls in opener

SANDUSKY – Columbian's boys and girls had a strong showing in the opening match at Cedar Lanes against Sandusky, but it wasn't enough in the end. The boys lost 2,824-2,677 and the girls lost 2,316-1,955 to the Blue Streaks.In the boys match, TC was led by Atreyu Sturgill's 447 series (234-213), while Blake Melick added a 403 (214-189), Hayden Wagner rolled a 376 (179-197), Wyatt Taylor had a 327 (155-172) and Zack Ross finished with a 310 (152-158).On the girl's side, TC's Miriah Distel had a 297 (147-150), followed by Lucy Weidner with a 287 (139-148), Brooklyn Edler with a 260 (123-137), Kaitlyn Distel with a 228 (125-103) and Kathy Forney (95) and Angela Nominee (89) bowled single games. SE girls win, boys lose openerWILLARD – Seneca East's Myley Kelbley rolled a 280 series Wednesday night to guide the Tigers to a 1,706-1,648 victory over Bucyrus at Dynasty Lanes Wednesday.Bucyrus' boys dropped the Tigers 2,150-1,814.Kelbley bowled games of 123 and 157 to lead the Tigers. They also got a pair of 276s from Sydney Beard (134-142) and Allie Miller (151-125), a 259 (113-146) by Casey Kipps and a 243 (137-106) by Gracie Webster.SE also won the three baker games 372-365.Tavia Parker paced the Redmen with a 333 series, while Trishia Young added a 278, Carie Myers had a 256, Shaylee Bibbee rolled a 211 and Eva Beal ended with a 205.On the boy's side, Bucyrus was led by Brody Higginbotham's 418 series. Stockaders grab 1st winFREMONT – Leah Cordell led Old Fort's girls with a 272 series in a 1,533-1,423 win over Lakota at Plaza Lanes Wednesday night.Cordell rolled games of 153 and 119 for the Stockaders. They also got a 255 (124-131) from Gabby Perez, a 219 (121-98) by Faye Walton, a 202 (105-97) from Caleigh Moore and a 188 (118-70) by Ellie Skeels.Old Fort won the baker games as well, 397-312.
