Rock Run Bulk Foods announces transition plans

TIFFIN — Rock Run Bulk Foods, a family-owned business known for its high-quality products and community-focused services, recently announced a transition to a new temporary location in order to expand its offerings. Currently, the business is located at the corner of US-224 and SR 18 and will continue to operate out of the site until 5 p.m. Dec. 23 Following a brief reset period, the business will set up shop at a temporary location in Tiffin at 45 S. Washington St., across from The Ritz Theatre, beginning Jan. 2, 2025. The transitional site will continue with normal hours of operation, open from 9 a.m.-5 p.m. on weekdays and open from 9 a.m.-3 p.m. on Saturday. According to a press release, their new permanent location will be located in Fostoria and they expect to move in later in the year. Additionally, the company plans to open a satellite bulk foods store and U-Haul rental service at 1165 S. Bon Air Ave., also on Jan. 2. The satellite location will offer added convenience for the community, with operational hours to be announced soon. Once the Fostoria store opens, customers will be able to place orders and pick them up at the Bon Air Avenue location. The new location for Rock Run Bulk Foods is located at 224-230 North Main Street in Fostoria, and will offer all the services currently available in Tiffin, including Rock Run Catering, Rock Run Bulk Foods, Rock Run Sweet Treats, and U-Haul Rentals. This location will introduce a dine-in and carryout lunch menu available throughout the week. Customers can also look forward to two exciting new divisions: Buck's Bakery and Buck's Bar. The Fostoria store will provide rental options, including tables, chairs, and a portable cooler unit. It will also serve as a point of contact for ordering metal buildings, such as carports, garages, and commercial structures.
