Goals for 2025

We're almost a month into the new year and many of us are working toward the goals we set for 2025. Whether you made a formal resolution or just have a list of things you want to try, Tiffin-Seneca Public Library can help. If you want to read more in 2025, the library has you covered. With a library card you get access to your favorite genres whether it's romance, historical fiction, thriller, mystery, sci-fi, fantasy, or inspirational we have something for you. In fact, you don't even have to leave your house to read great books for free! With our digital offerings on Libby and Hoopla, you can download and read ebooks and audiobooks from the warmth and comfort of your home. If you want to save money by making more meals at home or start eating healthier in 2025, the library has a wide range of cookbooks to help you out! Check out titles like "Genius Kitchen: Over 100 Easy and Delicious Recipes to Make Your Brain Sharp, Body Strong, and Taste Buds Happy." We even have cookbooks to go with that new air fryer or slow cooker you got for Christmas! If learning a new language is on your list, the library has books on a variety of languages like German, French, Italian, Spanish, Arabic, Mandarin Chinese, Japanese, Korean, and American Sign Language. If you're short on time, you can try our DK 15 Minute series of books meant to get you started learning with just fifteen minutes a day over twelve weeks. Maybe you want to travel more in 2025. The library has a variety of travel guides for destinations in the United States and abroad. Whether you want to check out the Grand Canyon, take a trip to Disney World, visit the beaches in Greece, or see the sights in Morocco the library has you covered. You can even check out our series of books on the customs and culture of other countries to prepare for your trip. If you've always wanted to learn a new hobby or craft like gardening, jewelry making, knitting, crochet, quilting, or drawing the library has books to help you learn! If you're just looking for a creative outlet or to do more crafts in general, every first Monday of the month the library hands out our Make It At Home craft kits. The kits provide the supplies and instructions to create a new craft each month! The kits are available on a first-come, first-served basis.
