Local earns credential

BLOOMVILLE—Chris Lewis, Financial Advisor with Thrivent, a diversified financial services organization, recently earned the Certified Exit Planning Advisor credential granted by the Exit Planning Institute. As part of this program, participants complete a five-day education program designed to provide financial professionals with strategic tools to help advance exit planning practices and services into business, personal and financial goals of the business owner. Topics include the need for exit planning, financial planning for business owners, valuation, creating action plans, third party sales, family transitions, adopting a successful selling process and more. To receive the CEPA® credential, candidates must successfully complete the CEPA education program, pass the final exam and meet experience requirements. Continuing education requirements to maintain the CEPA® designation must be satisfied every three years.
