SMARTSIZING SEMINAR TO TAKE PLACE MARCH 20 An upcoming seminar addressing smartsizing will take place on Thursday, March 20. According to a press release, RE/MX Unlimited Results Realty and The Jones Home Team will host Empower Your Retirement: Free Smartsizing Seminar for Seniors and Retirees, from 12-1:30 p.m. at the Allen Eiry Senior Center, 28 Hopewell Ave. The seminar is "designed to help seniors, retirees and their families confidently plan their next steps in homeownership and lifestyle transitions," the release states. Topics of the event include downsizing, transitioning to assisted living and home remodeling, and insight from top local professionals will be offered. Speakers and experts will include Nicole Miller of State Farm Insurance; Drew Trusty of Trusty Health Insurance Agency; Sean Durocher of Motto Mortgage Unlimited; MVM Moving and Storage; Chris Lee of Edward Jones; Michael Work of tAP Tiffin Architectural Practice; 5 Star Maintenance & Construction; Attorney Zach Fowler; and The Jones Home Team. DRIVE THROUGH DONATION EVENT AT KIWANIS Kiwanis Manor will host a drive-through donation event from 4-6 p.m., March 25, to collect items for its Chemo Care Packages for Mercy Cancer Center, Easter basket items for Project Noelle, and snacks for the Hub Teen Center. Donors can drive up to the circle in front ofthe manor and volunteers will unload items. Monetary donations are also welcome.
