Rock lives live at Ritz

TIFFIN — If you're looking for a way to jump start the weekend, Friday Night Live at the Ritz, might be just the ticket. It's live music and entertainment in a casual, intimate setting. The Ritz Theatre in downtown Tiffin is excited to be host Friday Night Live at the Ritz, beginning at 7:30 p.m. Friday, MArch 14. On Saturday, March 15, Whammer Jammer: A Tribute to the J. Geils Band hits the stage at at 7:30 p.m. Friday Night Live will serve as the perfect way to jump start the weekend, featuring live music and entertainment in a casual, intimate setting. Each Friday Night Live performance turns the spotlight on two or more artists of different genres. Some of which are local, some of which are regional, but all of which are passionate about their art and showcasing their talents. This iteration will feature three artists: The Tuesday Crowd - Acoustic Duo featuring Hannah Mathias & Brian Gaietto (Tiffin), Kysten Lilly & George Sherwood - Singer/Songwriter Duo (Tiffin), and Char Pope - Piano (Tiffin) & Friends. Tickets to Friday Night Live are $10. Check out the 'Centerfold' Saturday's show will feature Whammer Jammer. Boston's own tribute to the mighty J. Geils Band is an experience, not just a show, according to a news release from the Ritz,. "They have been thrilling audiences far and wide with high energy and faithful performances dedicated to keeping the sight and sounds of one of rocks' greatest bands in the hearts of fans old and new," said Bruce Hannam, marketing director for the Ritz. "They consist of six dedicated professional musicians from the Boston area with a singular goal — to share with their audience the timeless music and non-stop live action stage shows that the J.
