Meet record, 1-2 finish in freshman mile spark champion RamsCAREY — Carter Pohlman set a record in the boys freshman mile and teammate Andrew Leightey ran second Saturday, propelling Upper Sandusky to the team crown at the Carey Blue Devil Relays.Pohlman won the freshman mile in 4:57.31, bettering the 2014 mark of 5:03 set by Carey's Trevor Cook.Leightey (5:08.24) crossed the line nearly 11 seconds later to help the Rams turn away Riverdale 72-68 for the team championship.Arlington held off host Carey 66-62 for third.
