ATTICA – Seneca East sent the game into extra innings with a three-run bottom of the seventh Wednesday in N10 play against Buckeye Central. The Buckettes then responded with the winning run in the top of the eighth on an Aleyse Siefert RBI-single.AJ Jury (2 RBI), Grace Collene (3B), Aleyse Siefert, Savannah Pace and Megan Siefert (RBI) all tallied two hits for the Buckettes (10-3, 7-2 N10), while Phoebe Rafferty singled and drove in a run.Ella Martin doubled, singled and drove in a run for the Tigers (6-8, 5-5), while Madi Smith doubled and drove in a run, Jordyn Enders singled and drove in a run and Hanna Featheringill drove in a run.Collene got the win in the circle in a complete game. Blankenship's walk-off 2B lifts Lady RedBELLEVUE – In the bottom of the ninth, Tessa Blankenship provided a game-winning RBI-double to vault Bellevue to a 7-6 SBC Lake win over Columbian.TC (8-10, 4-2 SBC Lake) had a good chance to win it in the eighth with two runs in the top of the inning, but Bellevue match those two runs to send it to the ninth.Chloe Easterwood, Payton Hicks (2B, 2 RBI) and Ava Meyer (RBI) all had two hits for Bellevue (4-12, 1-5), while Ryleigh Knutti added a single and two RBIs and Mallory Hay singled and drove in a run.For TC, Emma Daugherty had a big night with a home run, a double, a single and two RBIs. It also got a double, a single and an RBI from Emma Blott and a single and an RBI apiece from Corinne Plotts and Laela Haman.Hay was the winning pitcher, tossing all nine innings for the Lady Red. Blue Jackets fend off Golden Bears 4-2NEW RIEGEL – It's never easy against Gibsonburg, but New Riegel remained perfect in the SBC River after a 4-2 win over the Golden Bears. Each team scored a run in the fourth, but then the Blue Jackets (13-2, 10-0 SBC River) plated three runs in the fifth.Karsyn Piper singled twice, while Ava Wensink doubled and drove in a run, Jacqui Tiell and Ruthann Baughman each singled and drove in a run and Maddie Heilman finished with an RBI.Piper got the win in the circle, giving up two runs on six hits in a complete game. She struck out 12 and walked three. Chieftains out-slug Raiders 17-10KANSAS – Both teams compiled 15 hits apiece, but it was Hopewell-Loudon with more runs in the end as the Chieftains took down Lakota 17-10 in SBC River play.Araceli Velasquez paced the Chieftains (12-7, 6-6 SBC River) with a home run, a double, a single and three RBIs, while Karsyn Snyder was a home run short of the cycle with an RBI, Sidney Brickner (2B), AnneMarie Berg (3B, 3 RBI) and Alekzandrea Jameson (RBI) all produced two hits. Lancers pierce WarriorsVAN WERT – Mohawk traveled all the way to Lincolnview to take on the Lancers Wednesday night. In the end, they were just too strong in a 7-5 win over the Warriors. Mohawk (13-2) tallied eight hits as Emily Brickner (HR, 3B, 2 RBI), Mallory Brickner (2B) and Aubrey Gottfried (2 RBI) all had two hits. Gottfried suffered the loss in the circle, despite fanning 11 in six innings. She gave up seven runs on 11 hits with five free passes. OF picks up 2nd winOLD FORT – Danbury had more hits and less errors, but it didn't end up with more runs as Old Fort upended the Lakers 11-9 in SBC River play.Adelyn Dick lined three singles for the Stockaders (2-13, 1-9), while Marah Miller singled twice and drove in a pair of runs, Gabby Perez singled twice and drove in two runs as well, Claire Hunker singled and drove in a run, Abbi Ward tripled and drove in a run, Autumn Skeels singled and drove in a run and Lucy King ended with an RBI.Mylee Sebetto picked up the win in the circle, allowing nine runs on 14 hits in seven innings of work. Rams survive in 9 inningsMORRAL – Upper Sandusky fell behind Ridgedale 6-1 after five innings Wednesday. But then the Rams had a furious comeback to take the game into extra innings where they won 8-7 in nine innings.Ava Saull compiled three singles for the Rams (13-4), while Brooke Montgomery and Addy Johnson each singled twice and drove in a run, Carly Boes singled and drove in a run and Ella Frombaugh drove in a run.Aleah McCann got the win in the circle in her 5 1/3 innings of relief. She surrendered a run on five hits with five strikeouts and three walks. Frombaugh hurled the first 3 2/3 innings.
