NORTHWOOD – With the Division VI tournament opener at Northwood tied at 1 after six innings, Lakota's Lexi Moon hit an RBI single and then Emma Jurovcik followed that with a huge two-run double to lift the Raiders by the Rangers 4-1.Lakota (12-9) advances to take on Woodmore at Clyde Tuesday at 6 p.m. The Raiders split the season series with the Wildcats this season.The Raiders compiled eight hits as Jurovcik and Moon each had two hits and Chevelle Rubel smacked an RBI single in the second inning.Jurovcik went the distance for the win in the circle, giving up a run on five hits. She struck out 11 and issued a single walk in the win. But that was about it for Arcadia, while the Chieftains were just warming up as they plated two runs in the third and then erupted for seven more in the fourth to grab a 10-4 win.Kellen Frankart went 3 for 3 at the plate with a double and an RBI for H-L (17-5), while Brody Brickman added a pair of singles and an RBI, Asher Smith doubled and drove in a pair of runs, Thomas Daniel singled and drove in two runs and Jack Colatruglio and Braylon Martinez each singled and drove in a run.Daniel picked up the win on the mound in his four innings.
