Haynes, Bame and Smalley earn top N10 awards

It was a tight, competitive baseball season in the N10 this season, with Mohawk and Upper Sandusky ultimately sharing the league title. For Mohawk, Hunter Haynes was named the player of the year in the N10, while co-coaches of the year were first-year Carey coach Trey Bame and Upper Sandusky's Jerry Smalley.Joining Haynes on the first team were teammates Kaden Bish and Kaleb Bish, Carey's Garrett Hall and Louis Watkins, Seneca East's Braydon Robinson and Rams Josh Heilman, Justin Heilman and Kasen Gottfried.The second team included Buckeye Central's Cayden Jarvis and Austin Estridge, Carey's AJ Wynkoop and Carter Bame, Mohawk's Ben Bogner, Owen Patrizi and Elias Magallanes, SE's Nicholas Parks and Brady Bloom and Upper Sandusky's Kaleb Francis.BC's Lance Cole, Carey's Dash Puckett, Mohawk's Andon Clouse, SE's Gunner Polachek and US' Caine Rupe were all honorable mention. Hart tabbed POY, Walton COY in N10Currently, the N10 title isn't quite decided as Mohawk has at least a share. A win over Upper Sandusky tonight could win it outright, but regardless, both teams were well represented on the All-N10 teams when they were released this weekend.Upper Sandusky junior Madison Hart was named the player of the year, while Mohawk's Mindy Walton was the coach of the year.Joining Hart on the first team were Mohawk's Aubrey Gottfried, Katie Woodland, Mallory Brickner and Emily Brickner and Buckeye Central's Grace Collene and AJ Jury. The second team consisted of Upper Sandusky's Ava Saull, Hope Morris, Ella Frombaugh, Madison Wengerd and Addy Johnson, Seneca East's Ella Martin, Mohawk's Blake Miller, Carey's Danika Hanna and BC's Zoey Hoskins. Honorable mentions included BC's Phoebe Rafferty, Carey's Raigan Kessler, Mohawk's Anna Russell, SE's Addie Dawson and US' Brooke Montgomery.
