Fostoria cleanup scheduled for Monday

FOSTORIA — Several area agencies are collaborating to host a community cleanup in Fostoria from 3-5 p.m., on Monday. Receptacles will be set up at the intersection of Poplar Street and Atha Avenue, to which residents may bring various items for proper disposal ore recycling.Items that will be accepted include: electronics, such as computers, televisions, cables and printers; large appliances, such as refrigerators, washing machines, dryers and ovens; bulk items, such as mattresses, sofas and oversized trash; household items, such as clothing, books, decor, toys, tools, baby gear.Items that will not be accepted include: hazardous waste, such as paint, chemicals, antifreeze and medications; and automotive items, such as car parts, tires and batteries. Other items that will not be accepted include yard waste, motor oil and commercial/industrial waste.
