Tiffin University announces lifelong learning season

TIFFIN — Tiffin University's LIFE@TU lifelong learning program for adults will launch its 2025–26 season on Sept. 5, offering 20 lectures and expert panels throughout the academic year. Topics will cover a broad range, including local and national history, science and technology, arts, current events, health, finance, and criminal justice. Highlights for fall 2025 include sessions on national security and intelligence, cognitive and mental health strategies, the science of happiness, Ohio in the Civil War, estate planning essentials, the history of the Ritz Theatre, and forensic truth-seeking. The programs member-driven curriculum is shaped annually by a committee that reviews and ranks more than 100 topic suggestions. Since its launch in 2023, the program has nearly doubled its membership and boasts a 96% satisfaction rate and 97% year-over-year member return rate. Sessions are held Fridays from 10 a.m. to noon at the Osceola Theatre inside the Gillmor Student Center, 155 Miami St., Tiffin. Early bird membership pricing is now available.
