54th antique machinery show begins Thursday

FINDLAY — The Northwest Ohio Antique Machinery Association's 54th annual show begins Thursday and continues through Sunday at the Hancock County Fairgrounds. This year's show will feature International tractors and engines. The International Harvester Collectors Ohio Chapter 6 state show will also be welcomed. Other events will include truck pulls, backseat drivers contest, garden tractor pulls and junior tractor pulls. A square dance is also planned along with a tractor parade and craft show. Daily admission to the show is $5 per person. After 3 p.m. on Saturday only, the gate price increases to $10 per person. Club memberships, costing $10 per person, are available. Camping on the fairgrounds is permitted for a fee. There is a $10 fee for riding vehicles. There is no charge for wheelchairs or motorized scooters. A shuttle wagon pulled by both tractors and horses will make stops in both the engine area and tractor area to allow visitors to comfortably tour the entire fairgrounds. Kids' activities will be offered Thursday, Friday and Saturday. A tractor scavenger hunt game, rope making and tattoos will be held daily. Food vendors will be onsite. Thursday, Friday and Saturday nights will end with a spark show — vintage engines will light up the night sky with a shower of glowing sparks — weather permitting. The show concludes Sunday following a worship service.
